Monitoring Methods
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test that measures the electrical activity of your heart to show whether or not it is working normally. An ECG records the heart's rhythm and activity on a moving strip of paper or a line on a screen.
A photo-plethysmograph (PPG) is an optically obtained plethysmograph, a volumetric measurement of an organ. Because blood flow to the skin can be modulated by multiple other physiological systems, the PPG can also be used to monitor breathing, hypovolemia, and other circulatory conditions.
SpO2 stands for peripheral capillary oxygen saturation, an estimate of the amount of oxygen in the blood. SpO2 is an estimate of arterial oxygen saturation, or SaO2, which refers to the amount of oxygenated hemoglobin in the blood. Hemoglobin is a protein that carries oxygen in the blood.
eMedica is capable of monitoring the Heart rate, Pulse rate, ECG, PPG, SpO2, Blood Pressure, Oxygen Saturation, Respiration Rate, Skin Temperature, Calories Burnt, Stress Level, duration of sleep, etc.
Moreover, if there is any discrepancy it would automatically run the concerned program (Therapy). “e Medica” has OTA software, IOT capabilities to monitor & upgrade the system/software online/ remotely, and also with mobile app control.
